86th Annual SFA Meeting and Conference, July 9, 2022

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 9, 2022, to join us for our virtual annual meeting and conference by Zoom! Due to ongoing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic and increased travel costs this spring, the Stiles Family of America Board of Governors has voted to hold our annual meeting and conference again virtually this year, by Zoom.

While the members of the board are disappointed in needing to make this decision again, we are excited about the prospect of some of our other plans – including efforts underway to build a more interactive website for our members! See inside and let us know if you would like to be involved!

On July 9, we will hold our annual meeting on Saturday morning, 11:00 a.m. EST, as in past years. We would like to have an interactive afternoon session about a genealogical / historical topic of broad interest. If you have ideas for a topic or speaker in an area of genealogical historical research that would be beneficial to researchers across all Stiles family branches. let us know! One of the advantages of meeting virtually, we can bring in speakers at much less expense and with more flexibility, not limited to individuals who are nearby on in-person gathering.

To participate in the virtual annual meeting, one should be a member of the Stiles Family of America – are your dues up-to-date? Look at your mailing label and/or check with Richard Darlington, our treasurer! And, in order to do a virtual conference, it is critical that we have specific contact information including working email addresses and/or phone numbers from our members. Please take the opportunity to confirm that information with our treasurer, Richard Darlington, as noted above.
