2022 Annual Meeting and Conference

July 7-10, 2022, Hilton Garden Inn, Independence, MO

Mark your calendars now!! Independence is the home of the Midwest Genealogy Center, “one of the United States’ preeminent resources for family history, providing access to almost three-quarters of a million on-site materials.”  To get the most out of this opportunity, start planning your research now!   More information:

Known as the “City of Fountains” and for its famous BBQ, Kansas City hosts National Frontier Trails Museum, the National WW I Museum and Memorial, the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, the American Jazz Museum, the amazing Steamboat Arabia Museum  – just a few of the historic, artistic and cultural venues to explore!  The Harry S. Truman Library is also in Independence, MO.   The Truman Library was actually closed in 2019 for an extensive renovation, but the renovation is now complete!  (Note that the website, November 2021, indicates the Truman Library is temporarily closed due to an increase in COVID-19 numbers in that area.)

Stay tuned for more information – and make sure your membership is renewed and up-to-date so that you receive the latest information!   Located in the heart of the U.S., there’s something for everyone in Kansas City – check out this Visit KC website:
